We were able to catch them in front of the new Lamborghini showroom in Amman. Which, incidentally also houses the Skoda dealership. Go figure.

Along with Galler’s 50+ dinar a kilo chocolate, the Iraqi dealer near Kilo intersection selling 1.5 million dinar Phantom Roll Royce (honest to God, the guy actually misspelled the marque in a top English glossy magazine ad) and the average west-amman street littered with rxr cars, i honestly don’t get any WTF-vibe when i pass by the Lamborghini showroom!
And almost every other person i know had a go on me for going after a Smart! I’ll tell what’s wrong with our oblivious society, we just don’t flippin get it man! We’re better off riding camels as we used to, for we just don’t know how to get things right…
were you car-shopping or just entertaining qais?
miss you all
My 13 year old was flippin’ when he saw the Lamborghini dealer. But when he saw the Skoda dealer behind them, he kept hitting his head on the window, quoting Basem above.
Basem, but at Galler you can get a decent coffee, free chocolate samples AND free wireless. If Mr. Khalaf is there, he may even try out a sample new dish on you. It is WORKABLE.
Ahmad, WHEN is the DSL connection in Amman going to speed up past dial-up time? Grrr. Don’t they know we have stuff to do?
Good one guys!
