I sent the Google adsense peope a question regarding the delay I have been experienceing in the display of their ads on this site. I got this reply
Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention. I have
forwarded the information you provided to our engineering team for further
investigation. We hope to provide faster load times to Jordan in the near
future.
Does anyone understand what they mean by ‘providing faster load times to Jordan’?? Is this country-targeted thing. I don’t get it?

My take on this is that it is a smart auto-generated response to your e-mail.
I remember experiencing a similar puzzling related response to an inquiry I made, which I think was for Amazon.co.uk. It sounded related and not generic, but not human.
I am not sure if this applies to your case or not.
Man, they’re trying to make the message more personal, that’s all. If you contacted them from UAE, Syria…etc. the response will be the same with modifying the country name.
My good guess is that this reply was sent to you by someone with no technical background hired to sort out emails and send replies to the users!
Think of them as an operator!
Well, maybe those country with higher traffic get more speed?
The question is, ru cashing from these ads?
ideally, i would like to see http://www.google.jo
saudi arabia and the UAE have local google URLs.
What a shame!
You would imagine that a company as big as google would at least use more people for customer care
It would have been much better if they directed you to their FAQ section than give such a reply
I doubt it’s an automated response. I think what they mean by providing faster load times to Jordan is to improve routes from Google.com servers to users in Jordan, and that by reducing the number of hops between users in Jordan and Google.com servers. It is something big companies usually do to improve speed upon their biggest markets..
Anyways, I’d like to add my voice to Jameed’s, I think a Google.Jo would be great, although I doubt it’d happen any time soon.
