Found this interesting press release. I remember how in the ‘good’ old days, European airlines pretty much abandoned Amman.
RJ used to have a Amman-Berlin service which was discontinued some years ago.

Dear Sir/Madame,
I was offloaded on a flight to Frankfurt on the morning of the 28th from Amman. They would not offload my checked in lugga, which is a small red Samsonite. It has my name tag on it as Capt. Bjarnason-Jordan Aviation. The ultimate destination was Santa Maria, Azeles.
I require this bag to be returned to Amman Jordan ASAP.
