   Hi Tooters,

   I am the author of that post in the Hungarian blog. I wish you all the best in your work on behalf of our three-person editorial staff. Since the machine translation is quite funny, I thought I would write up the English version of our short article. Here we go:

   Don’t know about you, but I for one wouldn’t have thought I could read sentences like these in Arab blogs. Sure, one might say that the people reading and writing in English do not represent the entire population there, either. Nevertheless, this site opens a window on a world different from ours. Selected Arab blogs on Toot; well worth some weekend clicking.

   Sorrry ….
   but toot is doing nothing for Jordanian bloggers! so even if they wrote about it in chinese .. it does not matter!!

   I have applied to join its community several times.. but they have not yet added me??

   I know several people who have faced the same …
   it seems to be a restricted area for a special type of bloggers

   Come on my friend. Toot is “doing nothing” for Jordanian bloggers? Really?

   Remember, toot currently has little less than 100 blogs. It’s an Arab, not just Jordanian site. Look how many of them are Jordanian (quite a lot actually, considering there are 22 Arab States).

   Also have a look at the top 10 during the last few months. Jordanians are getting voted really high.

   “Restricted to special type of bloggers”.. What type are you talking about

   Seriously, toot has a number of criteria: geographic and interest diversity, Arabic and English balance (as much as we can), length of blogging experience, quality of writing, blogging activity, blog popularity.

   We’re not a blogging directory. There are many directories out there. We are building a small community and, sadly, we can’t have everyone in..

   All I can tell you is, toot will grow further. And I hope we can add more people as we go.

   Of course there are other ways to contributue to toot. Comments on the tootlog are more than welcome, for example.. http://blog.itoot.net/
