I missed blogging about this as I was traveling. Apple opened it’s second NY store on 5th Avenue. The store is underground and a magnificent glass cube marks the entrance. Just amazing.
Read what Gothamist had to say about it and make sure you check out his flickr set of the store.
Boing Boing called it the “biggest nerd magnet on earth”. It’s also a magnet that open 24/7/356. The Apple store that never closes.

WOW. Just another reason to love New York. And I thought the Apple store I just ‘happened’ to come across in San Francisco was cool. It’s NOTHING compared to this!
Which begs the following: why oh why can’t I figure out how to work my damn iPod that decides to die on me two days ago???
not really!
it’s less than avarage, glass cube?? what so special about that?
the interior looks like if it was designed ages ago

thank u ahmad for sharing it

U all such consumption victims. manal would even rather visit that store than the statue of liberty. u all should watch Zeitgeist, both parts of it (free on google…length about 2 hrs each).
remember, fear and criticism comes up when we do not have enough info about that particular issue.
