This year’s ICT Forum, to be held at the King Hussein Convention center on the 14th and 15th of September, will witness the introduction of cool conference technologies, to be used for the first time in a Jordanian conference.

Through the support of global, regional and local enterprises, the Forum’s participants will enjoy wireless internet access. The Forum wants to guarantee that the participating IT leaders are always connected during the conference.

A 2.4 GHz wireless access point will make it possible that any 802.11x device (laptops, smart phones, etc) can be used to connect to the wireless network.

The forum will also have its own intranet service available, which will enable participants to schedule meetings with any other participating members.

Inside the main conference hall participants will be able to practice a form of direct electronic democracy. Using an electronic voting device participants will be able to vote on questions and topics being put forward by the panellists.
