I was once in a hurricane that ended that badly. One third of our city was under water for a month.
thank God the Eye of the cyclone/hurricane didnt cross over Oman, if it did things would’ve been much different for them,
omg thats a killer
really shock to hear that terible news but i hope everthing will be fine.i want to extend a condolence to those who lost someone in this tragic event. and hope that all omanis will help each other to rebuild the life of those people that been affected.god bless
Nu-uthu billah
I hope that no one was injured badly.Everything happens for a reason. It could have been much worse. Hurricanes, cycones, earthquakes, etc. seem to be occuring way to often. Were there this many a thousand years ago??? Hopefully all the Omanis will have some support so that they will be able to get through this tragic time. to the Omanis: Hold your head up and keep praying.
I was in the middle of the cyclone and the devastation afterwards was like a war zone. Roads were ripped up, trees all over the ground, running wadis [rivers] tearing through it all. And the main cause of the devastation was the bursting of the damns.
For a fortnight afterwards, there was no running water, no electricity and no clean water. Houses were under water, but not clean water, muddy, murky, filth.
Unfortunatley, over 40 people were killed, but the country is suffering a tremendous amount of damage.
