Apple Air
Some say that this banner that appeared on the Apple home page today is a teaser for a new light-weight laptop called the MacBook Air. Some say this laptop will have super wireless capabilities (including Wimax). Some say it will not have any wires and will be powered by induction through a special dock. Some say it will have a multi-touch screen or touch pad capable of understanding a myriad of hand and finger gestures.

All of these people are wrong.

My sources inside Apple tell me that Apple is about to launch a revolutionary product: iAir. It’s fresh air that comes in beautiful metal bottles. You can choose from many air flavors: Alpine Wind, Beach Breeze, Garden Scent and Arabian Desert and others, all bottled in special locations around the world.

All flavor will be priced at US$ 3.99 a bottle. Later in 2008 Apple will release family size bottles with multi-nose ports.

The iAir bottle will come with a specially designed “nose port” where consumers will be able to stick their nose and breath the air inside.

If you don’t believe me, just watch they Steve Jobs keynote tomorrow evening.

so you stick the nose into the port!! so it does not even classify as a scent since you do not spray it out, you go in… right?

funny how a designer friend and I wanted to open a studio under the name “eat air” which is translation of “kol hawa” to be an inside joke for Jordanians. But the word in English didn’t sound that appropriate either. We wanted to send sealed bottles of air, with labels, nutrition facts and all as promotions – but not sell them!

hilarious Ahmad, I think this should be launched early summer in preparation for all the smelliness around especially at ma7allat el mo3a malat.

As a non-apple user, iAiR will get me into the Apple world for sure :D
