Obama is a Mac and Clinton is a PC
Show me your website and I’ll tell you what kind of candidate (and person) you are. That’s essentially the gist of the very interesting article by the New York Times: Is Obama a Mac and Clinton a PC?

The article offers insight into the visual design and branding techniques used in the websites of these two leading Democratic Party candidates. It is a must read for anyone involved in web design and branding.

I’ve been spending an increasing amount of time following the US elections. What a fascinating race! The ability of elections to move and engage so many people in America is testament to the liveliness the country’s politics possess.

I leave you with this cool music video from the supporters of the Mac, err sorry, Obama: Yes We Can.

Great article, and so true :) I’ve been following the primaries with excitement and lots of interest. It’s amazing to see how an inspiring person can mobilize masses of young people, shake them out of their apathy, and get them involved. In January Obama raised three times as much money as Hillary, and most of it came through the internet… small donations from supporters all over. To think that everyone is playing their small role and seeing its impact… sigh… it gets you thinking, a lot.
