Have you seen this?

I’m calling it Amman’s biggest painting (prove me wrong if you know a bigger one). The wall of the Radisson SAS hotel has been undergoing a transformation for the past few weeks.

The work is by owl-obsessed artist Rima Malallah, who also happens to run the Love on a Bike shop near Rainbow Street.

I finally got to photograph the wall.

Would love to hear what everyone thinks?

i appreciate the effort put, but i didnt like it, too bright colors is one thing, why are the owls so angry?? and the whole drawing is so plane that it doesnt make you think.. the upper blue ruined the downward green contrast. i dont know..

Word has it that Omar Maani, after driving by, sent a letter to the management of the Radisson Sas telling them that the wall painting was a “public nuisance” and that it had to be removed

I’ve been tracking it since the first outline, and loving it. I walk past that wall and it puts a smile on my face thanking the artist for infusing color into our day.

    More, more!!

I liked very much your brilliant article in Assyjjil today. I think you should re-publish it in your blog here. You write in excellent Arabic. Have you thought of making this blog bilingual?

We need to prioritize this “water tank branding”
As noted below, the client has asked us to apply the wave graphic, plus logos on white background (repeated at least three times so the logos shows from any position around the tank). But we are also asked to include some layouts using a large “long-term” image (girl in regular clothes pouring water from tap, girl in abaya drinking water, etc.) as an option.
is there a good technology for applying a large image of a little girl on a huge tank like the attached picture? We don’t want to show a human figure if it’s going to look bad, or be damaged in the hot sun quickly, etc.
