I just found this interesting little blog called 3adi (great domain name!), which, among other things, had an interesting post about how the Jordanian Shawerma chain Day3a has opened in East Jerusalem:

3adi :
Remember the old days? Where businesses where moving from Palestine to Jordan? Well these days are over I guess. Palestine is getting everything from Jordan now, for example there is Chili house in the west bank (it’s an international brand!) and now we have Day3a in Jerusalem (I’m shocked that they offered a franchise, and trust me it was a lot of money!).

The post has a full review of the place.. Very interesting.

Yesterday Amman. Today Jerusalem. Who knows.. New York might be next on the list of the Shawerma kings. Eat your heart out McDonalds!
