The founders of Skype (and Kazaa) are at it again. This time it seems they want to revolutionize TV. Code name of their new ventue: The Venice Project.
Again, it seems to be a P2P based technology, apparently to enable some sort of digital video distribution. None much more is known. For now, this is all they have to say?
We’re working on a project that combines the best things about television with the social power of the internet – a project that gives viewers, advertisers and content owners more choice, control and creativity than ever before.
