it is their first attempt at the iPod. wait for the 2nd and 3rd generations. Microsoft has massive resources and capabilities to back up their ambitious Zune.

Zune is very hackable; which is a plus. I’m not pro zune but someone should put a stop to apple’s monopoly
The guy really needs to take his Prozac. Nevertheless, he makes some good points. I haven’t heard great things about the Zune. In its current iteration, it’s definitely not an iPod killer.

That’s actually Leo Laporte from “the Screensavers” show on Tech TV, he’s THEE authority on gadgets in the world. I don’t disagree with most of what he said, I still think the Zune is fantastic but fell under the weight of DRM and the record companies The WiFi can be used to download through media center extender or Xbox, which is pretty cool really. Anyway, I’m not buying one anytime soon, I’m happy with my Archos 604wifi
